The Glamour Beauty Edit.

Hellooo lovelies!!
I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas, ate a little too much turkey, drunk a little too much alcohol and fell over a few too many times - I know I certainly did, in front of a club full of people. SMOOTH.
But anyway, enough about me! I hope Santa was good to everyone and everyone got exactly what they wished for :)

Today's post is about a lovely little beauty box that was on offer at Latest in Beauty! It's currently sold out but if you clicky on my linky HERE you can be entered into a competition to get your mitts on one of these little darlings! The box originally retailed at £14.95 and delivery was £3.95!

So, I hear you ask - WHAT'S IN THE BOX???
I shall show you..

1. Balance Me Daily Care Radiance Face Oil - RRP £15.00
2. Maybelline Baby Lips Balm Repair - RRP £2.99
3. Eyeko Lash Curler - RRP £12.00
4. Philip Kingsley 'One More Day' Dry Shampoo - RRP £5.95
5. Toni & Guy Glamour Firm Hold Hairspray - RRP £2.19
6. Benefit 'They're Real' mascara - RRP £9.00
7. HD Brows Eye and Brow Palette 'Foxy' - RRP - £19.96
So as you can seeeeee there is a LOT in the box, you pay £18.90 and receive 7 products that are worth approximately worth £67!! That's a saving of of nearly 50 quid!! The majority of the products are full size, and those that aren't give you the chance to try something out you would never think of purchasing!

The Balance Me Daily Care Radiance Face Oil is gorgeous!! It's designed to replenish the skin with ingredients to boost and balance your skin! It's particularly effective on oily skin, as oil on oil helps to balance the skins natural oils out! I've noticed it made such a difference to my skin, because since I've moved into my new student house I've suffered from a really oily T zone and it's helped so much! Also the smell is beautiful! It's got chamomile in, and it really helps me sleep if I use it last thing at night, it conks me straight out! I've been so impressed by this product I'm definitely gonna try some more Balance Me products in the future!

The Maybelline Baby Lips have been such a hyped up beauty product over the last few months on Youtube, blogs, instagram, you can't avoid them! I'm glad I got one in this box and was able to try it out because every time I went to Superdrug they were sold out! I'm not going to lie to you, I don't think they're amazing, I much prefer my eos balm to the baby lips, but if you want something easy to carry around with you to avoid chapped lips in the winter it works perfectly.. It's ultimately a pretty looking chapstick! Maybe if I had got a flavoured one I would have been more intrigued or impressed :)

I am one of those people that constantly forgets to curl their lashes, I always forget about it until I'm half way through applying my mascara and at that point it's too late! This Eyeko Lash Curler is super pretty with its limited edition blue velvet handles, it catches my eye on my dresser and now I actually remember to curl my lashes! It makes such a difference and this one is such good quality it really helps my lashes become a lot more curly and noticeable! It comes with 3 silicone pads for the curler, all which last for 3 months! It means for £12 you get 9 months of pretty eyelashes, to a lash freak like me that's a bargain!

Philip Kingsley is some kind of hair product God, however for me with my very short hair I tend not to pay much attention to new hair products on the market. However dry shampoo is my BEST FRIEND. I am a lazy person, I hate washing my hair - even though there is so little of it, so I love being able to reach for a can and getting another day out of it! I also think Dry Shampoo is so good at adding volume to a style for a night out - guarantee it'll help you're hairstyle last all night!! This Philip Kingsley one is brilliant, which is to be expected for the slightly hefty £5.95 price tag! That's like 3 HUGE cans of Batiste when they're on offer! But the price really shows in the quality of the product! Not one I'd repurchase myself but it's lovelyyyy when you get it in these beauty boxes - a treat to my little short-haired head!!

As anyone else with short hair knows, hairspray is essential to ever holding any style! Toni & Guy are another haircare brand I tend to pass buy as I stick to VO5, Got2be and Elnett for my hairsprays! This hairspray gives a good hold without making your hair feel sticky or really stiff! But I'm more in love with my current brands so I don't think I would rebuy this one either! It's nothing against Toni & Guy or Philip Kingsley - it's just once you get used to products that work for your hair and the way you style it you tend to stick with them!

Benefit do these cutesy little versions of They're Real for magazines, beauty boxes and freebies with other purchases and I know they're valued at £9, however you can't buy them!! You can only buy the full version which is 8.5g and retails at £19.50! I cannot lie, this is a holy grail product to me! I can't just live with the mascara on it's on but it's part of my mascara holy grail trio! I use it first to separate my lashes, as the wand has such small individual bristles it separates them so well! I then have a coat of Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara and then finish it off with Lancomes Custom Drama mascara.. As Jay-Z would say, HOLY GRAIL. But anyhooo, anyone who hasn't tried this mascara yet, I advise that you do.. You probably will hate it at first, but stick with it, eventually you'll NEED it in that makeup bag of yours. ;-)

Finally, the real reason I bought the beauty box.. The HD Brows Eye and Brow palette... This is amazing! I have ditched my Benefit Browzing's (for now anyway) as this is such a handy palette, perfect for a good dark brow and also can be used for a great smokey eye.. It's handbag friendly and easily carried!! The colours can be seen below from left to right - 'Nude' (the really light yellow shade), 'Carbon', 'Warm Brown' and 'Dark Brown'.. You have to mix the shades slightly to make sure you get a good shade on your brows just to make sure you don't go full scouse brow or end up looking like you dyed your eyebrows! But it's brilliant none the less! The colours are so matte and so easy to blend in, quick and simple!! It's cheaper than Benefit's version and I think it has more uses as I've really gone off the gel in Browzings! I much prefer a powder for my brows now, gels tend to melt!

Have you ever purchased a Latest in Beauty collection box such as this one?
What did you think - do you think they're good value for money?
Let me know!
Have a great New Years whatever you's are upto and I shall speak to you in 2014 *eek*!!

No chocolate in the duty free..

There might not be any chocolate in the duty free, but in Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport I can fully confirm that there is a MAC counter..

I will admit I have issues in regards to shopping, but I was flying home to go back to my old job in the hospital as a domestic assistant and I needed some form of motivation!!

I re-purchased my holy grail powder "Mineralize Skinfinish Natural'; but I got shade Medium this time! I felt Light Plus was just a little too light for me, and I generally like to use bronzer to give my gave some colour so I just thought I'd get the shade up!

I also grabbed a lip liner in Cherry, a beautiful deep red, it'll go perfectly with Riri Woo and my new e.l.f lipstick I searched in my last post! The thing I love about Lip liners is that it can be completely two different looks, alone or with a lipstick or gloss!! Double the value ;-)

The lip liner was £10 and the powder £18.30!

I have a post on a lovely new beauty box coming up and it'll be up by the end of the week!!

If I'm not back before then, I hope everyone has a super super Christmas and I hope Santa brings everyone everyyyything that they want!!
Merryyyy Christmassss!!

ELF Haul!

Another day, another haul! This is from a few weeks ago but I have been super busy so here it issss!
ELF Cosmetics usually do a yearly 50% discount code when you subscribe to their mailing list (I really advise it - there's so many types of discounts available ALL the time it can really make a difference to your shopping basket total!)

This is just a quick post of what I bought, a few swatches and where to find things on the website!

Lipstick in 'Gypsy' and 'Fearless'
Blush in 'Merry Berry'
Long Wear Lip Pencil in 'Bitter'
Tone Correcting Concealer in 'Light Beige'
Studio Cream Blush in 'Seductress'

Swatches L- R - Gypsy, Fearless, Bitter, Seductress & Merry Berry
I also bought a travel sized mirror for all those on the go beauty fixes!

This order was £32.85 in total, and with the 50% off code it brought it down to £19.37.. That's a lot of makeup for less than £20! Especially when all the products are so highly pigmented and good quality.. The Flawless Finish Foundation is one of my favourite 'drugstore' foundations there is!!

Do you like ordering from ELF? What do you think of the products they sell?
Leave me a comment and let me knowwww :)

MAC Haul!

Bonjourrrr neighborinos!
I know it's been a while, I've been workinggg a lot and had enough uni work that you could probably climb it!

A fortnight ago, Selfridges had their Christmas event that offers 20% off the majority of everything they sell & 10% off all beauty products... I used my cunning plan of buying things that I wanted for Christmas before Christmas so I got to use the discount.. Sneaky ;-)

The main thing I wanted to buy was Ugg boots, I've had my eye on mini black Uggs for ageees! My tan classic short uggs are 4 years old now and they've had better days! These were excluded from the 20% off day, but they were 25% off instead both in Selfridges and Kurt Geiger.. I made the plunge and bought them, £130 to £97.50 - which I was extremely happy about!!

After my Uggs I found myself in the MAC section.. And I'm not gonna lie, I had such a splurging session!
Everything was 10% off which for beauty products is brilliant!

Here's a few pictures of what I bought!!

Select Cover-up Concealer - NC20
Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 - NC20

Retro Matte Finish Lipstick - Relentlessy Red
Satin Finish Lipstick - Faux

217 Blending Brush
All together this should have cost me £84.50, but with the 10% discount it came to £76.05.. I know this is steep but I'm gonna be getting money for Christmas so I will pay myself back :)

Have you got any of these products?? What do you think of them?
Leave me a comment and let me know :)

Flashin' them pearly whites... :-D

Hellllllllllloooo.!!
Oooooh what have I got here I hear you ask??

This is the 'At Home Instant Teeth Whitening Kit with LED Lighting System' from the absolutely lovely people at Smile Bright Atlanta! I received this little package in the post this week and was super excited! I wanted my teeth whitened for my 21st but unfortunately I just couldn't justify asking for that kind of money! So whenever I discovered this little beauty online I got VERY excited!
The pack contains:
One LED Light
Mouthguard
10ml of gel
One tooth chart

You apply the gel to the inside of the mouthguard, insert this in your mouth and then place the LED light in your mouth.. You leave each application for 30 minutes, wash your mouth out and then repeat for another 30 mins.. So basically 2 x 30 min applications.. you can do it when you're watching the soaps in the evenings.. SIMPLE ;-)
You're advised to complete 3 applications in the first week in order to receive the best results and then once a week or month to maintain the shade you desire :)

This is a very attractive picture of me completing the treatment ;-)

I done my first application toward for 60 minutes and I just wanted to show you the difference an hour has made on my teeth..
My teeth are definitely whiter and less yellow.. I'm really surprised at how much of a difference one full treatment made! I'm definitely gonna make sure I stick to doing the 3 applications in the first week to see what kind of effect it has on the colour of my teeth!

The kit is advertised at $99 on the Smile Bright Atlanta website.. However I can get all of you lovely ladies a bargain.. As I have a code that reduces the kit from $99 dollars to $25 dollars!!
My code is 'smile87' !
Postage & packaging to the UK is about $14.81 for my Manchester address, so when combined with the kit it equates to £25 (approx.) in total!
That's nothing in comparison to how much it can cost in the dentist or even in beauty salons.. And there's no sensitivity or pain involved like Laser teeth whitening can cause!
Postage to the UK can take between 3-5 weeks, this is due to the product being sent from America and having to go through Customs etc!

To purchase the product follow the following steps:
  • Add the product to your shopping cart
  • Select the 'shopping cart' area
  • Select 'checkout'
  • Enter your details
  • The postage amount will be displayed in US Dollars
  • Go through to the next stage of the payment
  • Add the code smile87 in the coupon box
  • The price should reduce to $25 dollars.
  • select Paypal for secure payment
  • Complete payment
SIMPLE :)

If you have any questions at all feel free to contact me via the comments, Facebook, Twitter or email at vennardr@hotmail.co.uk :)
You can also use the Contact us section of Smile Bright's website and a member of their lovely customer services department should be able to help you!!

Let me know if you have any other easy teeth whitening tips, or if you decide to purchase this kit!
I'll have another post up in a few weeks to see how the treatment continues on my teeth :D

Talk soon loveliessss

Doe.. A deer!

Halloween has been and gone.. And this is just a little post to show what I dressed up as this year!

I didn't wanna spend an awful lot of money on an outfit so I decided to go down the make up route and just get a little cheapy dress!

I found this makeup look on a random google search and decided it would be worth an attempt!

And here's a pic of my attempt...

I just used normal foundation, and to get the darker brown colour I layered up a HELL of a lot lf bronzer, and some rust eyeshadow just over the cheeks! The white surrounding my eyes was a combination of a Collection eyeshadow stick and an NYC white eyeshadow! (Sorry I don't have any names I'm blogging from away from my house!!) Finally the nose and my eyes were completed with a Collection liquid eyeliner and an Eyeko skinny liquid eyeliner! The white dots around my eyes (and also down my neck) were done with a white facepaint crayon stolen from my housemate! It was pretty simple and took me about 45 minutes to complete, which also included a lot of song selection time ;-)

I wore a brown woolen style dress from Primark that was in the sale from £13 to £5!! Bargain!! The necklace was stolen from my housemate and I wore a brown belt just to tie it all together! The deer ears were from eBay and cost me £2.90! I haven't got a link for them at the moment but I'll post it in the comments below later on!!

All pretty cheap and simple, and it's a look that could be worn all year round for any type of fancy dress party!

what did you dress up as for Halloween? What do you think of my Bambi inspired get-up? :)

Talk sooooon! Xx

Birthdaaaaay Post!

Helloooo!
I'm back in Manchester and I'm officially 21! EEK - I'M SO OLD.
Just a little post to show what my lovely besties got me for my birthday makeup wise!
I was well and truly spoilt, so please don't think I'm trying to show off by this post!!

My lovely housemates bought me the bright orange lipstick in 'Morange'! Its an orangey red in an Amplified Creme finish and it's absolutely gorgeous on! I've been lusting after it for so long after seeing the lovely Zoella raving about it!! It's such a perfect consistency and applies soooo easily! Check below for a pic of me wearing it!

Another one of my flatmates Hayley bought me lots of owl related pressies, including the cosiest blanket and a handwarmer! Think that's gonna be necessary for Manchester life!! Hayley also got me some Malibu, if no-one has ever tried Malibu and Milk you are MISSING OUT! It's like ice-cream, I definitely recommend it!!
Lizzie my classmate/housemate/right-arm got me my current favourite perfume.. ONE DIRECTION! It's so sweet and just smells amazzzing! I am aware I'm 21 and the target age of the perfume is 12, but I don't care.. If it smells good I love it! She also got me an owl keyring and owl chocolate.. But I'll never wanna eat it!

Nexxxxxxt my bestie/wifey/soulmate treated me to some lovely MAC makeup! She bought me the Cremeblend blush in the shade 'Something special' - it's so nice, easy to apply and the perfect orangey peach! It's definitely the shade of blush that can be worn everyyyy day regardless of season!
She also veryyyy kindly bought me an Amplified Creme lipstick in 'Up The Amp', it's a really vibrant purple in the bullet and it looks even more vibrant on! The finish on both the lipsticks is so easy to apply and it's beautifuuuuuul. I absolutely love this shade, I don't know if it's one I would have picked up in store but I'm so grateful that Becca bought it because I LOVE it. In the pic below I'm wearing both the products Becca bought me!

My other bestie Jill who I am unfortunately separated from due to Uni treated me to some absolute beauties when I was at home, including my first Sausage and Egg McMuffin! It was delishhhhh! A new treat for hungover mornings me thinks! Paddy McGurgan has recently opened a new Pro Make-up store in Newry! She picked me up an absolutely beautiful Make-Up Atelier Paris Eyeshadow Palette in shade T02! It is beautiful! Not a palette I would have chosen for myself but honestly, I think it might be love! Two gorgeous light coloured peachy tones, a rusk shade, a purple shimmer and a black with a hint of glitter! Its perfecttt for day and night wear, just depends on how strong you use the darker shades! Sorry the lights not great on the lighter shades, my house hasn't got the greatest lighting situations!

She also treated me to a Lush Fresh Facial Cleanser in 'Angels on Bare Skin'! It's a cleanser designed to even out skin tone and improve the health and appearance of your skin! It's made of ground almonds, you take a pea sized amount of the cleanser, add water and make a milky consistency then apply to the face, and remove with warm water! Your skin feels so fresh and clean after using it! And I think it really has improved my skin since I started using it, because I've been suffering from a few breakouts recently but this has helped it stop! Have a nosey at here on Lush's website!

I just want to thank everyone who got me anything! I was absolutely spoilt and also got gorgeous presents from my Mum, Dad and someone else special! I had the best birthday celebrations and it made turning 21 a lot easier! I wish it could be my birthday every week!

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you've tried anything above!!

Treats to myselfffff!

Hellooooooo!
I have to admit I have been spoiling myself a bit recently, a few treats here and there, after work etc.. It needs to stop!! But I thought I'd let you see what I've purchased!!

Firstlyyyyyy... DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
Rihanna recently launched her Rihanna Hearts line for Autumn, and ohhhhh glory days it is BEAUTIFUL! Everything had the most gorgeous rose-gold packaging and all the colours were beautiful! Now mostly everything has unfortunately sold out online (click HERE to see if there's anything left!) but in a few stores there are a few bits and pieces left but it really is just pot luck! I was the lucky lady that managed to buy the last 'Riri Woo' in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.. Sorry to anyone that wanted to go and purchase it! It's a really matte deep red and it's gorgeoussss! It lasts for absolute donkeys on the lips and even manages to stay on quite well after eating and drinking! It is quite similar to Ruby Woo which is in the permanent collection but the girl instore said it's easier to apply and is not as drying on the lips! This little baby was £16.50 which I know is expensive.. But look at it - HOW COULD I SAY NO?!
There'll be a swatch further belowwww!

Neeeext.. As you know I flew home last week for my birthday, and unfortunately Terminal 1 at Manchester airport has a MAC counter... I however was VERY restrained and only treated myself to one eyeshadow! I bought 'Brown Down', a matte warm brown! Have a little looksy here! I really wanted a shadow like this for my day-to-day makeup look, I have an Urban Decay Naked palette but it just doesn't have a dark matte shadow for the outer corners of my eyes! In the airport products are Tax Free (I THINK :-/) so instead of £12.50 for this lovely little number I paid £10.40! It was a birthday present to myself and it is something I am gonna get a lot of use out of! Check it out below and see the swatch further belooooow.

They say to leave the best to last.. And I certainly have..
Have a little look at this beauty..

I am finally the proud owner of Nars 'Orgasm'!! Gorgeous peachy/pink blush with a hint of gold shimmer just running through the blush!! So so pretty on the skin, I now understand why this product has become such a cult product, I loveee it!! It can easily be worn as a daily blush, or layered up for a more dramatic look at nighttime! £21.50 for a blush seems steep, but when it's so wearable I think it's worth it! However I didn't pay £21.50! ASOS offers 10% student discount at all times, and you can buy it on ASOS HERE! But on Tuesdays if you have an O2 Priority code and you have a student discount code from Unidays you get 20%!! To most people this doesn't seem a lot, but any students know that this is a looooot! I paid £17.20 for the blush and I'm absolutely chuffed about this!! SO HAPPY ARGHHHH!! I also love how cheeky NARS name their products, very tongue in cheek!

L-R - 'RiRi Woo', MAC's 'Brown Down' and NARS 'Orgasm'
I know I've been on a complete shopping haul recently, and particularly high-end products but it has been my Birthday, my money is all spent now so I'm back to being a poor student so shopping is FINITO.
I hope you enjoyed reading this!
Let me know if you have any of these products and what you think of them!

MAC - 'Embrace Me'

Helllllllooooo!
I'm currently at home in good old Northern Ireland! It's so gooood to be home!!

My mum and I made a little excursion to Cheshire Oaks designer outlet when I moved back to Manchester in September! And much to my happiness they had an Cosmetics Company Outlet!! There was a LOT of people in it and it was so warm in the shop so I only grabbed one item!

This little beauty is MAC's 'Embrace Me' lipliner! It's a briiiiight bright pink (verging on neon) and it's so so prettyyyy! Definitely not for those who are girlie girls but I definitely am!

MAC's lip liners are usually £12-£12.60 in store but this was £8.75 at the Outlet! That's a good saving to me and I was more than happy to pick it up at this price!!

That's just a wee pic of me wearing 'Embrace Me' on a recent night out!

What do you think of Embrace Me? Would you rock it?? Let me know what you think :)

Talk soon lovelies!
I'll maybe do a post on a few birthday items that I've received! But I don't want anyone to think I'm bragging or anything like that!!
Lots of lurveeeeeee!

The Beauty Blogger Tag!!

Helloo!
Today's post is a little different, just a little get to know me post! It's my 21st Birthday on Tuesday (the 15th) and I'm heading home for a few days with my family so I doubt I'll have time for much blogging action!
I googled Beauty tags and this was the first one that popped up so lets get stuck in!

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hairs naturally quite wavy when it's longer but when it's in this shorter length that I've been rocking for the past few years its now naturally quite straight! Mainly because it's cut where it used to kink! Handy ;-)

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
For years I dyed it myself, but all the home dyeing had left my hair quite dead and lifeless! I got it stripped and now I'm gonna try and stick to getting it dyed in the salon! It's so much nicer and my hair is a lot silkier now yay!

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?
Generally I do wear the same style everyday, just straight! But if I'm going out for the night I do tend to try and use my straighteners to make it wavy and make it a bit more exciting! I absolutely swear by the backcombing powders that are on the market at the minute, they;re my holy grail hair product! Alongside lots of hairspray as well!

4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I do my own pedicures but I do go to a salon to get my acrylic nails done.. I never manage to stick to the one colour for the whole month though so I do tend to repaint my nails!

5. How often do you change your nail polish?
I usually change the colour about once a week! I never have to worry about chipping because of my acrylics!

6. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer?
My tootsies stay polished all year round! My toenails are tiny though so actually painting them is a right task!

7. How long does it take for you to put on makeup?
Depending on how much time I have! Usually for Uni or Work it takes me around 15 minutes, but for a night out it can take me about 30 minutes to an hour but that's usually because I get distracted by choosing music to listen to as I get ready!

8. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
Usually face! Unless I'm experimenting with bright colours or glitter, because I hate it when it falls on your face and you end up having to take it all off again!

9. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
I'm a student and I don't have that much money, so I do try and just buy what I need.. BUT whenever I see a good offer or a product I love in multiple colours I do tend to stock up! Naughty :D

10. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
I'm not one of those people that wear false eyelashes every day, I only wear them for nights out!! But I do wear HUGE ones for a night out, I've got low set eyes so its the only way I can actually add any real definition to my face :(

11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?
I do tend to wear makeup everyday, but for uni or work its generally, foundation, blush, eyeliner and mascara and maybe lipstick if I'm feeling adventurous! But generally it's pretty simple!

12. Do you wear makeup when you're home alone or with family?
If I'm not going out anywhere I don't tend to wear makeup unless someone important is coming round and I want to impress :)

13. Will you leave the house without makeup?
Yes! I'm not afraid of leaving without makeup, I just prefer not to! But if I sleep in I will leave without it!

14. How many high-end products do you have?
I have a few high end products, about 10 MAC items, and a Lancome & a Chanel mascara! But I prefer to only buy something high end if I know I'm going to LOVE it! But I do love MAC, I really want to buy myself a MAC palette so I might start when I get my birthday money through!

15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed?
I do try and plan what I wear!! But sometimes when unplanned nights come up I just throw on whatever! And then sometimes when you plan an outfit for so long when you eventually get round to wearing it it looks rubbish, so it's sometimes brilliant to just decide when you're getting dressed!

16. How often do you change your handbag?
I don't change my handbag often, I will admit I've basically relied on the same £5 Urban Outfitters sale bargain for the past year and I still love it! But I am getting a Michael Kors bag for my birthday so once I get this I think I'll be worshipping it! It's beaaaautiful!

17. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?
I am a sleeeeper, I absolutely love to sleep.. It's like my favourite hobby! At the moment with the way my timetable is I'm waking up around 7/8am and sleeping around 12am but by the end of the week I am a zombie.. I really need to get my sleeping pattern in check! I fell asleep at 11pm on Friday night and naturally woke up at 9 and felt like a new person! So I just needa get into the habit of doing that!

18. How often or when do you workout?
I will admit, I'm NOT a gym bunny, I'm NOT a fitness freak and generally I am quite happy with myself. However I do realise how important my health is so I do plan to join the gym when my university bursary comes in! I hope I can improve my fitness and feel better about myself!

19. Left handed or right handed?
Right handed!

20. How tall are you?
5'7"

21. Do you speak any foreign languages?
I did do Spanish and French to AS level, and passed them both but however I can barely remember ANY of the language! I'd love to take Spanish up again because it is such a lovely language!

22. How many pets do you have?
I have one dog - a shih tzu called Harper! She's two and she's my baaaaby!

23. How often are you on Blogger?
Approx once a week, I am a busy girl! I have Uni 3 days a week (soon to be 4) and I have a part-time job as well so I don't have much spare time!

24. Do you read comments posted on blogs?
I would read them but I vary rarely get any! If anyone comments I'd love to reply to you so don't feel afraid to drop me one!

25. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
I don't keep a list of products but I do kind of keep things in my head! I always have an eye looking out for products I've seen whenever I'm out and about!

26. How did you come up with your blog name?

Mac Miller FOTD!

Holaaaa.
Just a quick little post to show what I wore to the Mac Miller gig at HMV Ritz in Manchester on Sunday 06/10/2013! The tickets were £17.50 and he was brilliant! Such a good crowd and the atmosphere was buzzing! Everyone was so pumped to see him! He had 2 support acts - one didn't really fit in with Mac's music style but he was still a beautiful singer and his name was Dylan Reynold and you can check him out here! His second support act suited the bill a little better and he was Rockie Fresh! He got the crowd going and everyone was fully ready for Mac! Mac Miller came out and was even watching his support act which I think is great because it showed how much he actually SUPPORTED that new, up and coming artist.. We caught a sneak peek of him checking out Rockie Fresh!

I kept my face pretty simple, foundation, bronzer, blush, lashings of mascara and small eyeliner flicks on the eyes.. The reason it was so plain was because I was wearing GREEN on my lips! Becca had told me she'd seen a make-up counter sales girl wearing Navy eyeliner on her lips with gloss so I decided to try this outttt!
I used MUA's Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil in the shade 'Forest Green'! I wore a MAC Dazzleglass over the top of the liner, but it actually made the liner come off faster so I scrapped that and left it as a matte look!

I liked this look, I do admit I got a few strange looks but sureeee I don't care! It's all about experimenting so I was happy with how the look turned out! Good for a gig when no-one is taking themselves to seriously!

I wore a cheap tartan smock style dress from a shop in Manchester's Arndale Shopping Centre called 'Shout'! It was £7 so I couldn't say no to that! I tied a denim shirt around my waist and also had suspender tights on, but they were toooo much - it was SO WARM!! I had my faithful vans on and they were super comfyyyy! Sorry I couldn't get a photo of my outfit, we were running out of time!!

Nails of the daaaaay!

Hellooo!
Just a quick post to show you what colour and polish I'm currently rocking on my nails because I loveee it!
Just to let you know my nails aren't natural, I do have acrylic nails on that I get done at Lilly Nail and Beauty! They're so professional and last SO long! I've had mine on a fortnight and there has hardly been any growth at all! I usually get them infilled every 3-4 weeks! All the girls at Lilly's are lovely and so welcoming!

Currently I'm wearing Barry M's Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint in the shade 'Watermelon'!
Watermelon is a dark teal colour that dries lovely and dark on the nails! It's a perfect autumn colour because of its deep rich colour and I think I'll be wearing this colour a LOT.
The colour actually dries darker on the nails than it does in the bottle!
I love these polishes - they're so glossy and shiny, they really do look like you've paid for gel nails whenever its a bargain at £3.99 from Boots or Superdrug!
It dries well on the nails even if the application is a bit streaky, within a few minutes the polish settles out to give a glossy, streak free finish!

At £3.99 these are some of the best nail products available at the moment from either the high street or high-end beauty products! They're the only type of nail varnish I even consider purchasing anymore!
If you haven't tried them I suggest you do! They have a great colour selection and every time I dander into a Superdrug store they have more colours available in this finish!

Barry M have also recently released more new autumn shades in a matte finish so I'm really looking forward to trying them and seeing how they compare! I love matte nails as well as shiny, glossy nails.. Oh to be honest I love most nail varnish finishes and Barry M have a finish to suit you!!

Barry M is currently on offer at Superdrug, and if you spend £9 on their products you get a free mascara so everyone hot foot it down there now or there'll be none left because I'll have bought them all.. :)

What do you think of these Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paints?
Are there any shades that you would recommend?
Let me know!
I'm off to Alton Towers tomorrow for my first time so I'm hopefully going to get a good few photos up for all you thrillseekers out there!

Speak soon lovelies!
